Investing, out in the open

I've been investing since 2000. I started in the dot-com boom and have been through three crashes since. I studied economics with a specialization in finance: portfolio theory, Black & Scholes, currency swaps and interest rate swaps. Since then I've watched that theory meet real markets.

I am an accredited investor. Alongside a public stock portfolio, I hold a set of pre-IPO stakes, and I had an exit in the Airbnb IPO. Technology and communication services are my biggest bets, and I keep a cash reserve as dry powder: after enough market cycles, you learn to stay liquid.

On X I post as @CAAccomplished: quick takes on market moves, and deep dives on the stocks I own and follow. The deep dives are published here in full, as research reports. Alongside them I share my point of view on wealth, generational wealth and tax. No hype and no tips: the work, and the lessons from twenty-five years of it.
